This impressive nutcracker wears a golden uniform richly decorated with raised leaves, scrollwork and beaded borders. The large crown, sculptural shoulder pieces, gold-coloured boots and ornate base give him the appearance of a precious showpiece. A lustrous cape in a warm copper shade falls from his shoulders, finished with a broad white faux-fur trim.
